Terms of use

LAST UPDATED 2026-10-11

These terms apply to callmaria.app and the Maria AI demo line, operated by Maria AI ("Maria AI", "we"). By using the site or calling the demo line, you agree to them.

What Maria is

Maria is an AI voice assistant that answers phone calls for businesses, collects callers' details and sends a summary to the business by text and email. She is software, not a person.

Not an emergency service

Maria is not an emergency service and must never be relied on in an emergency. If there is a fire, a medical emergency, a gas leak, sparks or any danger to people or property, call 911 or your local emergency number.

AI can make mistakes

Maria works hard to get every detail right, but speech recognition and AI can mishear or misunderstand. Always check important details with the caller when you call back.

The demo line

The demo line is for trying Maria. Please don't use it for real emergencies, to share sensitive personal information, or to place abusive or automated calls.

No guarantees about results

Examples, sample calls and the missed-call calculator on this site are illustrations, not promises. We don't guarantee any particular number of calls, customers or revenue.

Service for business customers

If your business signs up for Maria, the specific service, pricing and terms we agree on with you apply in addition to these terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Maria AI is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses caused by missed, misheard or incomplete calls or summaries.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
